Burn Gel Dressing

Burn gel dressing are infused with medical-grade water-soluble gel formulated from 90% highly purified water. Each dressing undergoes gamma irradiation sterilization and carries a stable 5-year shelf life for long-term clinical inventory storage. Its core cooling mechanism rapidly dissipates thermal energy from burnt skin tissue, stopping heat penetration into deeper skin layers to mitigate secondary thermal damage. Beyond thermal control, this medical dressing delivers sustained analgesic relief for burn discomfort while forming a sterile physical barrier that shields damaged epidermal tissue from airborne bacteria, dust and environmental contaminants.

    Instructions for use:

    For Heat Burns

Lay the hydrogel burn dressing evenly over the full surface of the burned lesion. Maintain continuous contact between the gel pad and damaged skin for a minimum of 30 minutes per application. When fixation support is required, fasten the dressing using a stretch conformable bandage; moderate tension must be maintained to avoid excessive compression on injured tissue. For extensive or deep partial/full-thickness thermal wounds, prompt professional medical assessment is strongly recommended. The water-soluble gel matrix of this dressing can be thoroughly washed away using isotonic saline or sterile purified water during dressing replacement when needed.

    For Chemical Burns

For chemical-induced thermal lesions stemming from liquid corrosive agents, copious cold water irrigation of the affected epidermal area is mandatory, with continuous flushing maintained for 15 to 20 minutes. In cases where skin injury arises from powdered chemical irritants, all residual powder particles should first be gently swept away from the wound surface before proceeding with a 15–20 minute cold water rinse. Upon completing the decontamination procedure, administer burn gel dressing treatment in accordance with the application protocols specified for conventional heat burns.

    Indications:

Emergency first aid for burns, scalds and sunburns.
