Paraffin-impregnated gauze dressing is woven cotton gauze saturated with medical white soft paraffin. The paraffin layer forms a non-adherent barrier on wound surface, prevents gauze fiber adhesion to granulation tissue, retains wound moisture, and delivers gentle lubrication for dry superficial lesions.
Instructions for use：
✢ Clean wound and surrounding skin with sterile saline, gently blot peripheral skin dry.
✢ Select matching paraffin gauze size, aseptically open pouch and retrieve gauze.
✢ Trim gauze with sterile scissors for irregular wound shapes, apply secondary absorbent dressing over paraffin gauze layer.
✢ Lay paraffin gauze flat directly onto wound bed, fix outer dressing edges with tape.
Indications
✢ Superficial burns, skin graft donor sites, low-exudate chronic ulcers, abrasions, postoperative superficial incisions, dry wound packing, fragile skin lesions.
