Povidone iodine sterile gauze is cotton gauze impregnated with sustained-release povidone iodine antiseptic. It delivers broad-spectrum disinfection against bacteria, fungi and viruses on wound surface, reduces infection risk for contaminated trauma, and woven gauze provides soft protective covering for wound bed.
Instructions for use：
✢ Clean wound and surrounding skin with sterile saline, gently blot peripheral skin dry.
✢ Select matching iodine gauze size, aseptically open pouch and retrieve medicated gauze.
✢ Trim gauze with sterile scissors for irregular wound contours, cover with secondary absorbent dressing.
✢ Lay povidone iodine gauze flat onto wound surface, secure outer dressing edges with tape.
Indications
✢ Contaminated traumatic wounds, superficial abscess debridement sites, minor burns pre-infection prevention, post-surgical wound disinfection, abrasions with foreign debris, minor lacerations.
