Hydrocolloid dressing consists of absorbent hydrocolloid matrix with self-adhesive backing. It absorbs light-moderate wound exudate to form gel, maintains closed moist healing environment, blocks external bacteria contamination, and supports autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue. Thin flexible structure fits body contours tightly.
Instructions for use
✢ Clean wound and surrounding skin with sterile saline, fully dry peripheral skin to ensure adhesion.
✢ Select dressing size 2cm larger than wound diameter, aseptically open pouch and remove hydrocolloid pad.
✢ Peel release liner, align pad center with wound, press adhesive edges firmly onto dry skin. No secondary dressing required.
✢ Replace dressing when fluid leakage appears on backing surface.
Indications:
✢ Low-moderate exudate wounds, superficial abrasions, minor pressure ulcers, blister lesions, post-surgical superficial incisions, autolytic debridement of sloughy wounds.
